Common Questions
Audio Setup
Q: How do I select my audio device?
A: Go to Settings → Audio and select your output device. For best results, use WASAPI Exclusive mode with a buffer size of 256-512 samples.
Q: I'm experiencing audio dropouts or stuttering
A: Try increasing the buffer size in Settings → Audio. Also ensure no other programs are using exclusive audio control.
Library Management
Q: How do I organize my library?
A: Use the search box to filter tracks, or create playlists by clicking "New Playlist" and dragging tracks into them.
Q: Can I import playlists from other software?
A: Yes! JukeKaraoke supports M3U, M3U8, and PLS playlist formats. Click "Import Playlist" to load them.
Karaoke Features
Q: How do I display lyrics on a second screen?
A: Load an MP3+G track (MP3 with paired .CDG file) or a track with LRC/SRT lyrics, then click "Show Karaoke Display" in the menu. Drag the window to your second monitor and press F11 for fullscreen.
Q: My CDG graphics look pixelated
A: CDG is a low-resolution format (300×216). The app automatically upscales to fit your screen. You can adjust scaling settings in Settings → Karaoke Display.
Mixing & DJ Features
Q: How do I set hot cue points?
A: While a track is loaded, press Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+8 to set cue points. Press the corresponding number key to jump to that cue point.
Q: What's the difference between Tempo and Pitch?
A: Tempo changes the speed without affecting pitch (key). Pitch changes the musical key. Use Tempo for beatmatching, Pitch for harmonic mixing.
